Orbital magnetism is key for electrical and optical control of magnetic properties, and spin magnetism is also of orbital nature on the fundamental level. In this talk, I will present an intuitive semi-classical theory of orbital magnetism, and show how geometric and topological effects play their roles in magnetization, susceptibility, and Landau level quantization
